1. Travel with a baby using the Uppababy Vista Stroller
This is the very best stroller on the market. Though it is a bit expensive, it is so versatile it’s worth the price tag. This comes with a bassinet, car seat (lasts for about 1 year), and toddler attachment. If you a travelling with a baby under 1, having the car seat stroller system makes your life so much easier. The best thing about this stroller system is it adapts as you grow. You can easily add in another attachment for another child! This is a stroller system you will have forever, and the best way to travel with a baby.
2. Baby Ktan. The easiest way to travel with a baby quickly!
When my son was just born, I would not leave the house without the Baby Ktan. If we were out and he got fussy, I would quickly put him in the Ktan and he would calm down immediately. It is breathable and incredibly comfortable to wear. I would use this for walks, restaurants, or if I needed my hands at home! This makes for such an easy way to travel anywhere with a baby.
3. Baby Bjorn Carrier
When my son got bigger, and began to hold his own head up (when he was 2 or 3 months old), I wanted to face him out. He loved to watch things, and still wanted to be held close. When we would travel with our baby, this was always packed! This baby carrier is great because you can face your little one in or out. For shorter carrier times (around 30 minutes), this is great!
4. Graco 4Ever Car Seat. Feel safe travelling with a baby for long drives.
It is SO crazy how fast babies grow! I remember taking my son home from the hospital and thinking he would be in that same car seat forever. 1 year flew by, and he was ready for a big boy car seat! I love this car seat because it is the only one we will need for him. 4 in 1 car seat gives you 10 years of use: seamlessly transforms from rear facing harness car seat (4 40 pounds), to forward facing harness car seat (22 65 pounds), to high back belt positioning booster (40 100 pounds), to backless belt positioning booster (40 120 pounds)
5. Cosco Apt 50 Convertible Car Seat. Easiest way to travel with a baby to and from airports.
If your little one is getting bigger and outgrows the Uppababy car seat, travelling just got a whole lot more tricky. Knowing how to travel with a baby, and what car seat to bring is key! Bonus points because your toddlers can use this on an airplane!
6. Summer 3D Lite Stroller
When my son outgrew the Uppababy car seat, no only did we need a new car seat, we realized we could travel with a baby and have a lighter and more compact stroller. This was huge for airplanes! This stroller is super lightweight, folds up extremely small, has storage at the bottom, a sun protector at the top, and even reclines. This checked all the boxes for us, and was such a great price! Travelling with my baby just got so much easier!
7. Slumberpod. Most crucial item for travelling with a baby overnight.
This has been a life changer for vacationing. The first time we went away with my son, we put him in a crib next to our bed. He stood up and cried until we put him in bed with us. Let’s just say no one slept the entire vacation! When I discovered the Slumberpod, I was so excited. We used this when my son was a little over a year old. The Slumberpod is basically a giant blackout tent that fits over any standard pack n play. My son napped and slept just as he would if he was home. We were all well rested, and got to enjoy our vacation! If you are going to travel with a baby, this blackout tent is a must have!
8. Lotus Travel Crib
When staying overnight in an hotel, using the hotel crib is not ideal! However, having to pack and carry another item can be stressful! The Lotus Travel Crib is the perfect solution, as it packs up easily and be can be carried like a backpack! Bonus points for easy zipper access at the bottom to save your back. 9. Mommy’s Helper Inflatable Tub
Not only is using a hotel crib unsafe, but the hotel tub is just gross! True story, when we were on vacation the hotel tub water was green! We definitely did not want to put our son in that tub no matter what. Next time I travel with my baby, I have backup. This inflatable tub is super transportable, safe for your little one, and not to mention sanitary, and inexpensive!
